A modern rug of vintage tribal inspiration, hand-knotted of the finest quality natural wool in a Moroccan village workshop. The main field of the modern Moroccan rug displays simple diamond embraced with chevron pattern. The composition is bold and bright, rendered in pink, aqua-blue, yellow and ivory. Long tassels are present on one shorter edge. Moroccan rugs, in their variety of textures, colors, and designs have stood the test of time. They are a classic staple in both classic and modern interiors. Our modern Moroccan rugs are handmade by artisans in small, specialized workshops, following the centuries-old tradition. They are handmade of natural undyed wool or of wool colored with natural dyes. Their designs are either of vintage tribal inspiration or traditional with an original twist, designs exclusive to Doris Leslie Blau.
