A Square French Aubusson rugs from the Directoire period. This rug is a part of the Aubusson rugs collection. A dramatically scaled rug woven with a large dominant floral shape that is uncharacteristically modern carpet from European rugs collection. Amongst the floral and vine motif is watering cans and scissors presumably for cutting fresh flowers.
