A hand-knotted wool antique Persian Malayer rug dating back to 1920. The main field displays a pattern referring to the classic vase design. The rug exhibits delicate florals and vines sprouting from subtle vases. The composition is enclosed within three borders kept in the spirit of the main design with stylized flowering climbers. The rug is rendered in beige, blue, brown and ivory.
