Description
A hand-knotted wool antique Persian Malayer rug dating back to 1920. The main field displays a large medallion with capsule in the middle filled with enlarged palmettes and florals, scrolling and angular flowering vines enclosed with enlarged spandrels within a floral palmette border. The rug is rendered in aqua-blue, beige, brown, green and vanilla.
