A hand-knotted wool antique Persian Tabriz rug dating back to 1920. The main field features a grid of enlarged palmettes, scrolling angular vines with leaves and florals on an emerald green background enclosed with an ample decorative yellow border of the same motifs and two narrow inner and outer dense woven floral borders. The rug is rendered in green, yellow, beige, blue, pink and red.
