Description
An early 20th century hand-knotted wool antique Persian rug. The rug displays alternating rows of stylized flower-heads, medallions and serrated leaves in multicolored hues of red, yellow, green, light blue, beige, navy and purple on a light blue background. The composition is framed by a geometric yellow border and inner and outer narrow, meandering floral borders.
