Description
This antique Oushak rug has a tomato-red field scattered with tiny blue roundels around a central pistachio-green and light blue lozenge medallion with a cherry-red central lozenge issuing angular floral vine and shield lozenges and further pistachio-green and light blue hooked lozenges forming a surrounding band, the pistachio-green spandrels similar, in a narrow pistachio-green border with a polychrome angular palette vine between triple inner zig-zag stripes and an outer shaded blue angular vine stripe.
