A vintage Swedish flat-weave wool rug with woven initials (IV), dating back to circa 1948. It is in excellent original condition, consistent with age. It displays allover a geometric design consists of a row of diamonds, symmetrical triangles, striped frame and two solid borders. The color palette consists of contrasting hues of yellow, purple, green, brown, aqua-blue and beige. The Scandinavian style enchants with its uniqueness and unpretentious elegance.
