A vintage Swedish flat-weave wool rug by Alice Walleback dating back to 1950s with woven initials (AW) at a lower corner. It is in excellent original condition, consistent with age. It displays a geometric design consisting of rows of 3-dimensional squares in greens, yellow and blues on a gray background surrounded by triple solid border in shades of dark and light blues. Hand-woven from the highest quality materials, this Swedish rug encompasses the love for tradition and the excellent craftsmanship of Scandinavian design. Beautiful fringe on the vintage rug’s top and bottom part is a nice finishing touch, which gives it even more charm.
