A Swedish flat weave wool rug dating back to circa 1950, made by Erik Lundberg with woven initials at the lower corner. The open field features delicate striations in light beige shades with little light blue accents running selvage to selvage blending seamlessly from one to the next. A wide geometric border composed of a multicolored rectangles takes the central stage in hues of yellow, red, green and beige on a blue background. Beautiful fringe on the vintage rug’s top and bottom part is a nice finishing touch, which gives it even more charm.
