    A mid-century Swedish high-low knotted rug by Södra Kalmar Läns Hemslöjd. It is in excellent original condition, consistent with age. It features a well-balanced composition deeply rooted in Scandinavian aesthetics. The beige field carries a cheerful, multicolored floral pattern in red, purple, green, yellow, beige and brown hues. The the intriguing high and low texture adds three-dimensionality to the design and will constitute a sheer pleasure for the feet. This Swedish rug encompasses the love for tradition and the excellent craftsmanship of Scandinavian design. Södra Kalmar Läns Hemslöjd means the handicraft association of Southern Kalmar County in Sweden. This was founded around 1908 in as a non-profit organization.
