Limited edition gold on black color way (2012). This dramatic design was originally conceived by McQueen for an embroidered coat in 2001. The curled oriental serpent appears from a skull in the centre of a classical wreath of ferns, hand knotted in gold silk and set against a black wool cashmere background. The motif is raised and hand carved to emulate brocade on a military uniform. Craftsmanship: Hand-knotted Tibetan wool and silk Knot count: 150 knot Technique: cut pile & raised motif
