A mid-century, Swedish flatweave wool rug made by Ingegerd Silow with woven initials (IS) at a corner. It is in excellent original condition, consistent with age. The design is traditional Scandinavian with stylized geometric shapes in a wide border. The color palette is filled with shades of blue and beige, accompanied by just a tiny bit of yellow and pink to make it more lively. The mid-century Scandinavian style enchants with its unpretentious elegance.
