Description | Pile wool carpet “Gula trädet” (“Golden tree”) designed by Marianne Richter (1916-2010) for Märta Måås-Fjetterström in 1945. Woven signature “MMF MR.” Richter was influenced by contemporary art and was a particular fan of Swiss painter Paul Klee’s work, whose sense of color and pattern was a source of inspiration for the designer. | ||||||||
