A set of two beautiful and extremely fine painted plates with a chinoiserie decoration of a bird, on a rock, in a garden. These plates are Dutch imitations of the Chinese Wanli-period plates. Most of these imitations are quite rough, but these are two exceptionally rare examples of the highest quality Delftware one can find.
