Origin: Delft, the Netherlands
Workshop: De Drie Porceleyne Flessies (the Three Porcelain Bottles)

Date: 1702 - 1716
A set of two beautiful and extremely fine painted plates with a chinoiserie decoration of a bird, on a rock, in a garden. These plates are Dutch imitations of the Chinese Wanli-period plates. Most of these imitations are quite rough, but these are two exceptionally rare examples of the highest quality Delftware one can find.
Marked WK
Both plates are in wonderful condition, but they have some restored chips around the rims. -
