18th Century Eared Pot in Patinated Copper

An 18th century eared tripod cooking pot in patinated copper.
Round-bodied cooking pot in hand-formed copper with fixed handle and tripod feet. The surface shows a deep patina with areas of verdigris at the seams and rim. Wonderful hand made quality and construction details.
Iron mounts with rivets secure the handle. A utilitarian form with simple yet sculptural presence.
