Swedish Hand Blown Carafe, 19th Century
-
Description
Price $450 EACH
Swedish blown glass melon form water carafes, 19th Century. All slightly different as they were hand blown by different glass blowers. Originally the smooth top was used to rest a simple drinking glass over.
They look really nice used as carafes on a table with either water or wine. The imperfections in the manufacturing process, slightly crocked or with bubbles etc, make them even more interesting.
Size range:
7 1/2in.- 9in. high
6in.-6 1/2in.- diam.
