American Aesthetic Japonesque sterling silver scoop, ca 1879. Turned handle with engraved stylized ornament. Scoop curved with scrolled shoulder. On verso engraved flowering branch and butterfly; on verso interlaced monogram and date “Christmas 1879”. Marked “Sterling”. Very good condition.

Dimensions: H 9 1/8 x W 2 1/4 x D 5/8 in. Weight: 3.2 troy ounces. #CC476
