Chinese export silver centerpiece bowl on stand, ca 1910. Bowl round and curved on plain stepped foot; mouth rim has clusters of graduated gadroons and c-scrolls. Applied circle (vacant). Stand round with engraved central circle (vacant) in well and applied heart (vacant) in shaggy leaf surround on shoulder. Stippled ground. Applied wraparound dragons with scaly slithering bodies and extended talons. The bowl has a tail-chasing solo serpent while the tray has two meeting head on with bared fangs. Marks include stamps for Wing On & Co. in Hong Kong.
