Pair of Chrysanthemum sterling silver compotes. Made by Tiffany & Co. in New York. Each: Lobed and shallow bowl with turned-down scalloped rim applied with alternating flowerheads and leaves; globular support and raised foot supported by four splayed rectilinear volute scrolls applied with same. Early pieces in the in the historic Japonesque pattern that was first produced in 1880. Fully marked including maker’s stamp, pattern no. 5725, order no. 6629, and director’s letter M (1873-91). Very good condition.
