German Rococo 800 silver bowl, ca 1910. Tapering sides with scrolled frame inset with flowers and open diaper. Scroll and shell rim and end handles. Oval well with chased pastoral scene: A beseeching gentleman holding a big stick, lounges next to a loosely garbed barefoot lady holding a scythe (!). Symbolically potent. Hanau maker’s mark (Georg Roth). Very good condition.

Overall dimensions: H 3 1/4 x W 13 5/8 x D 8 1/2 in. Weight: 14 troy ounces. #BW151
