Description
A small iron sculpture or napkin holder in the shape of a swan, by Jean Touret for Atelier Marolles.
Signed by Marolles and with an original picture from the Atelier Marolles portfolio.
Jean Touret (1916 - 2004) began a career as a painter and then turned towards woodcarving. All his life he continued his aesthetic research by experimenting with unconventional use of a variety of materials: wood, paper, copper, zinc, bronze, iron, plexiglass, ceramics and concrete. -
