Victorian Classical sterling silver loving cup, ca 1890. Baluster bowl on raised foot; 3 leaf-wrapped and -mounted s-scroll handles. Chased and embossed ornament with bold scallop shells between scrolling leaves. Cast egg-and-dart rims. A sumptuous wine cooler with plenty of room for engraving.

Fully marked including maker’s (Frank W. Smith) and retailer’s (Bailey, Banks & Biddle) stamps, and no. 1334B. Very good condition.

Overall dimensions: H 10 1/4 x W 9 3/4 x D 7 1/2 in. Heavy weight: 48 troy ounces. #CC511
