Description
This classic Art Deco Champagne Cooler, accented with substantial butterscotch colored Bakelite knob handles is part of a group of tableware accessories designed and produced by Osiris in Argentina in the 1930s-1950s.
In the early part of the 20th Century, there was robust importing of silver goods from Germany, England and France. But since the name Argentina is derived from the word “argent” (or silver) designers took the influence of things imported from Europe but reinterpreted the designs to make them uniquely Argentine. - More Information

ArtDecoCollection.com was one of the very first Antique/Art Deco businesses to have an online, worldwide presence. In addition to our highly regarded past retail locations in San Francisco and our current 7,000-square-foot showroom-by-appointment in Oakland, California, we have maintained a website for over 25 years.
