Description
A vibrant American 1960's blue glass ships decanter with over-scaled stopper; by Blenko Glassworks; the very cool decanter with large clear glass paddle-form stopper resting on a vibrant blue base; English-born William Blenko came to the United States in 1893 to bring his stained glass technique to his adopted country. He began the Eureka Glass Company in 1921 in Milton, West Virginia. To stay afloat during the Depression, Blenko switched to creating glass tableware and in 1930, Eureka became Blenko Glassworks.
