    Edwardian Regency sterling silver portable ice bucket, ca 1920. Retailed by Cartier in New York. Girdled cylinder with stepped foot. Cover with big domed finial. Double swing handles: Exterior open with leaves and pendant flowers; top arched with oval frame (vacant). Interior rectilinear with acid-etched imbricated leaves; snug-fitting for securing cover. More acid-etched ornament: Rectangular frames with flowerhead-inset laurel wreaths and paterae, and scalloped borders with pendant flowers. Applied gold monogram. Thermal-insulated interior marked “Thermos”. Fully marked including maker’s (Lebkuecher) and retailer’s stamps, and no. 365EEB. Very good condition with strong definition.
