Christofle Swan Sauceboat C.1935 designer Christian Fjerdingstad. Silver Plate Sauceboat and Ladle conforming to the shape of a swan, designed by Christian Fjerdingstad for Christofle, France. C. 1935. The Sauceboat on oval shaped base, plain oval shaped body with flat tail. The ovoid ladle with plain tapering neck stem and swan face handle. Overall Length: 11 ¾ inches (with ladle). Height of Sauceboat: 2 ¼ inches. Breadth of Sauceboat: 4 inches. Marked around the rim of the base Coll Gallia France Christofle marks. Ladle also marked.
