Riedel x Mesa Design Large Black Centerpiece Glass Bowl, Post-Modern Italy, 1980
-
Description
A straight and large, 14 inches diameter postmodern centerpiece glass bowl from the 1980s. Crafted from deep black glass, this bowl stands out with its reduced, elegant design, featuring a high-gloss interior and a matte exterior. It is part of the Riedel Mesa Collection, created through the collaboration between Claus Joseph Riedel (Austria) and Mesa Design (Italy) from 1986 to 1996. The bowl is very solid and in good condition with only minor signs of wear, like a few unavoidable fine scratches and light aging on its exterior . It is marked "Riedel" on the underside. This piece is not only highly decorative—ideal for display on a shelf or in a cabinet—but also makes an excellent fruit bowl. We currently offer more pieces from the Riedel Mesa Collection in our other listings.
