Description
This vessel was created by Cristina Salusti. Beginning with a ball of clay, she pinches it into vessels and textures them with stone fragments. After multiple firing it was finally lustered with 22-karat gold. Its volcanic-like outer wall seem almost protective of its precious gold center. It glows with luminescence. At a glance, one is certain that there must be a light source within. In fact the vessel attracts and contains ambient light which gives it a spiritual presence.
