    Workshop: De Grieksche A (the Greek A) (Attributed)
    Date: 1713

    A set of two fine Dutch Delftware so-called pancake plates decorated in blue and white with a geometric border and central cartouche of flowers and a bird, surrounded by a double ring of stylised leaves, dated '1713' on the reverse, the date set in several concentric rings.

    Possibly by De Griekse A, another armorial plate with exactly the same date is in the collection of the Kunstmuseum Den Haag, and signed APK M.v.M. for De Griekse A factory.

    Both plates are in excellent condition.
