Born of a collaboration between the Daum manufacture and silversmith Roland Daraspe, this centerpiece unites two exceptional crafts: pâte de verre, its deep green hues evoking organic matter, and finely hammered pewter that frames and extends the form into two long, curving horns. The body, its edges undulating like a corolla, rests in balance upon these metal supports — a dialogue between the fluidity of glass and the sculptural rigor of metal.
Signed “Daum France 2014” and hand-signed by the artist.
