Description
Dutch pierced and repousse serving berry preserve sifter silver spoon C.1916. Superb silversmithing depicting a figural group market scene beautifully pierced upper frieze to flat bowl, engraved foliate stem of handle with winged cherub above surmounted with handle depicting a fisherman holding salmon. Tested for silver and marked in bowl with ZZ in a double square shield with cut corners used 1916-1920 for Zaanlandse Zilversmederij Company. Length: 7.75 inches. Width of bowl: 3.75 inches. Weight: 69 grams. Condition: Good. Reflections purely from photography only.
