English Sterling silver tray with case by Elkington
English, 1911
Tray: Height 5cm, diameter 51cm
Case: Height 8.5cm, width 55cm, depth 55cm
This charming solid silver tray is by the famous firm Elkington. The tray is circular in shape, with a raised rim ornately moulded with a series of convex and concave scrolls. The centre of the tray features a dedication inscription, and the silver is fully hallmarked for Elkington, dated to 1911. The tray is accompanied by a fitted wooden case.
