    In this new series of cast glass vessels (9 x 6 in.), Felekşan Onar condenses the breadth of her explorations into an intimate scale. Each piece carries within its translucent walls the weight of layered histories, personal and collective. The vessels recall the artist’s Mediterranean heritage and the flux of her life between Söke and Istanbul, cities shaped by shifting seas and centuries of cultural exchange.
    The modest dimensions belie their depth: in their compact form, the vessels suggest containers of memory, repositories for unfinished identities and fractured narratives. The glass itself—at once transparent and opaque—becomes a metaphor for the coexistence of clarity and concealment, permanence and fragility, history and present.
    Together, the collection underscores Onar’s belief in glass as a living medium, capable of holding not only light but also the invisible currents of migration, belonging, and time.
