Description
George Jones Majolica figural bowl with a mythological theme which features two Egyptian sphinxes seated on a mottled oval base supporting a bowl with their wings and their heads. Colouration: cobalt blue, ochre, white, are predominant. The piece bears maker's marks for the George Jones pottery. Bears a pattern number, '2170'.
