Heavily potted, these bottled were dipped in white glaze and brushed on with black Kanji characters to show the brand names of saki. They were likely made in Tamba kilns, famous for making these types of Saki bottles. Very charming with a strong sense of mingei (folk art) quality. The height ranges from 11.5 to 8 inches.
