Description
An Italian early 19th century yellow and green glazed pottery bowl from Calabria. Born during the early years of the 19th century in the southwestern region of Italy called Calabria, this charming pottery bowl features a nice conic shape, adorned on the inside with a yellow glaze, highlighted with green accents. Capturing our eye with their joyous dance, the green strokes that decorate the upper section lead us to admire the central motif of the base. This unpretentious décor is perfectly contrasted by the simple, unglazed finish of the exterior. With its nice proportions and understated décor, this Italian pottery bowl circa 1820 will bring a touch of authenticity to any home.
