Japanese Meiji silver cocktail shaker, ca 1920. Ovoid bowl; plain high-looping handle and diagonal spout with ribbed and chained cap with cork plug. Cover flat with plain finial and same plug. Horned and scaly dragon with gaping jaws and outstretched talons applied to stippled ground. A ferocious wraparound beast comically chasing its tail. Marked. Very good condition.
