Description
Painted in cobalt blue on a white ground. The centre of the plate with groups of figures in a garden setting painted in the chinoiserie style.
The rim with a border of flowers surrounded by scrolls and encircled with two thin blue lines framing the whole. Pierced on the reverse with further decorative patterns.
Nevers, France, late 17th century. Restored.
