Description
Lorenzo Burchiellaro (1933 – 2017) is an Italian designer and sculptor. He studied at the P. Selvatico institute in Padua and the Academy of Fine Arts in Venice. He participated in two Biennials of Venice, and was invited to two Triennials
of Milan, and was present at numerous italian exhibitions abroad (Tokio, Paris, Tel Aviv, Monaco, Malmö, etc.). He won twice the first prize at the Gubbio Biennial. He also obtained a gold medal from the city of Venice at the Bevilacqua La Masa gallery. His material of choice were all kinds of metals: from gold and silver through bronze, brass, aluminum, zinc and pewter to copper.
Here we have a pair of decorative objects in varnished metal, made at around 1960.
