Lowestoft Chinese Export–Style Tea Pot, England circa 1790

$ 495
  • Description
    This charming teapot showcases delicate hand-painted flowers scattered across its white porcelain body, with pink and red blooms complemented by green foliage and subtle purple accents. The piece features a gently curved rectangular form, a curved spout, and a high arching handle, all topped with a fitted lid crowned by a decorative finial in matching colors.
    Circa 1790, this Lowestoft work reflects the English pottery tradition of imitating Chinese export porcelain designs during the late eighteenth century. The factory in Suffolk was known for producing affordable wares that captured the aesthetic appeal of Asian ceramics for the English market.
