Description
Minton Majolica figural bowl which features putti holding leafy garlands, supporting the bowl. Colouration: cobalt blue, green, cream, are predominant. The piece bears maker's marks for the Minton pottery. Bears a pattern number, '1647'. Marks include a factory specific date cipher for the year 1874.

Stabilised and retouched hairline to the side of the bowl (does not extend to rim). A couple of filled chips to the lower base edge.
