Monumental antique carved wooden trough or bowl, 19th century.

This is a rare antique hand carved wooden trough or bowl, which can be used for decoration or as a (fruit) bowl or magazine holder. Beautiful piece, hand carved our of a solid piece of wood. A true Wabi Sabi antique, great in a stylish Japandi or Wabi Sabi interior combined with honest and natural pieces of furniture. 19th century piece, originally used as a trough or a dough bowl.

Very large size and therefor a true conversation piece on your table, counter top or sideboard. Great patination and colors, formed by time. Also, the iron nails on one side to keep two parts of the wood together are a very distinct detail. A very honest and untouched piece which you will not find very easily.

Great antique condition with a desirable patination.
