Lovely mid-century Murano glass centerpiece or bowl out of the famous workshops in Italy coming from the late mid century around 1960/70. A real classy piece of Murano glass art with a nice clear base and an artfully designed, elaborately worked glass bowl on top: light pink/ glass flakes were melted within the clear glass to create an impressive pattern in the center. These flakes are getting brighter (changing into white) and bigger towards the outside. A real special thing about these patterns is the magical, delicate light blue shine which the white flakes create on the outer edge (just see picture #8) - a true masterpiece of Italian glass art. That also confers this Murano centerpiece/ bowl this extremly special shine and beautiful appearance.
