Ridgeway Plater, circa 1810

$ 195
  • Description
    A rare porcelain dessert plate by the Ridgway family, featuring a central floral composition surrounded by vibrant vignettes on a colorful ground. The delicate relief-moulded shape and meticulous hand-painted details reflect the high-quality craftsmanship that made the firm a staple of Regency-era elegance.
    Circa 1810, this original period piece was crafted during the early years of the Ridgway brothers' partnership at the Cauldon Place works.
    Hand-painted porcelain with a gilded rim, wearing its history through fine, natural crazing. Rooted in the English Regency tradition, this plate embodies the sleek but detailed aesthetic that defined urban living and formal dining in the early 19th century.
