Superb Edwardian sterling silver pictorial water pitcher. Made by S. Kirk & Son Inc. in Baltimore. Oval bowl on plain and raised foot; round mouth with v-spout. Cast high-looping leaf- and flower-wrapped handle. In relief, a mounted hunter approaches a fence, following a hound, which has picked up the scent. Bucolic landscape with trees, houses, and farms in background. Fully marked including maker’s stamp (1925-32), no. 3778, and phrase “Hand Decorated”. Very good condition.
