Description
A standard since 1861 of the American late 19th century pressed glass industry, Gillinder & Sons, produced a large range of EAPG designs from their glass factory in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. This set of lidded compotes or covered dishes is considered one of their finest designs. This set has frosted lion profiles on the lid top/handle, twisted scalloped trim and a frosted footed base with three lion profiles. Very good condition. Set of three. Dimensions are for largest. Height of shorter pair 10 3/4"
