This eclectic collection of plates is a fine example of late 18th and early 19th century German design. The collection is comprised of pewter plates of various forms, shapes, and sizes: there are circular plates, oval dishes, and domed bowls, amongst many other pieces. The pewter is decorated in a variety of styles with figurative and geometrical imagery. The plates are variously marked. -
