Description
These hand-painted porcelain plates feature delicate botanical studies in the center of each piece, surrounded by an ornate gilded border with scrolling flourishes. The set of twelve maintains consistent quality in both the floral imagery and the richness of the gold decoration across every plate.
Circa 1900, this collection represents the refined tradition of German porcelain manufacturing at the height of the Art Nouveau period. Hutschenreuther, one of Bavaria's most respected producers, was known for combining meticulous hand-painting with generous gilding to create elegant dining and display pieces for discerning households.
