The board is defined by an elongated oval silhouette with a subtle lateral extension that functions as a discreet handle. Its compact proportions and gently tapered edge create structural clarity, allowing the object to read as both tool and sculptural plane. The vertical grain orientation emphasizes the length of the form, articulating a quiet sense of movement within an otherwise restrained geometry.
Crafted from Tzalam, a dense hardwood native to the Yucatán Peninsula, the board reveals warm amber-brown tonal variation and a pronounced linear grain.
